Top Hat
Balmy weather and straw hats go together like Beyonce and bodysuits, so it is more than appropriate to see a few headpieces contsructed from humble straw come the Resort collections. Oscar did a boater, Erin Fetherston went for wide-brim, but which ones did you lust after? Here are my faves.

Sweet, chic with a vintagey feel. Jason Wu shows us why he doesn't do casual.

Chanel does it like no other. Jacquetta Wheeler barefoot, all-in-white with a swagger inducing hat.

Erin Featherston's modern take on the straw hat makes for a very glossy hipster.

Oscar De La Renta gives the classic boater a twist with an oversize bow. Sweet!

Country Wedding Fever

I love weddings...mainly because of the dresses. I have Victoria's (farmer's daughter and friend of 15 years) country nuptials to attend come July and I have been stressing about my dress and accessory choices since she told me the date was set! I don't do high street when it comes to wedding attire as the choice is often too dire for words (Coast...eerrrm I think I'll pass). So I have enlisted my wonderful Auntie, a dressmaker, with the responsibility of making me look rather fabulous. Since it's a country affair I'm favouring Louis Vuitton's AW10's modern-take on the fifties housewife. I am unashamedly obsessed with this collection and a huge skirt, pretty print and nipped in waist never felt so appropriate.
